Hong Kong QMAS
Hong Kong QMAS is also called as “Quality Migrant Admission Scheme”(QMAS) and is a point based system in the Hong Kong region of the people’s republic of china. This was first announced in 2006 and since 2008 around 500+ people have got residentship in the country under this scheme.
Age: Applicants must be aged between 18 and 50
Financial Stability: Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are capable of supporting and accommodating themselves and their dependants, if any, on their own without relying on public assistance during their stay in Hong Kong;
Police Certificate: Applicants must have good character and shouldn’t have any criminal records. Hong Kong authority won’t allow people who has criminal records when they go through security check.
Language Proficiency: People who are applying for QMAS should have good hold in Mandarin (chinese) or English language.
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a good education background, with minimum Graduation level. In some cases, if the applicant is knowledgeable and have good experience in good occupation then the QMAS authority might allow the applicant too.
Nationality: Nationals of Afghanistan, Cambodia, Cuba, Laos, North Korea, Nepal and Vietnam may not apply under QMAS due to certain reasons as per authority.
Entry of Dependents:
Applicants can bring their spouse and children’s (under 18) under this scheme to Hong Kong. The applicant should sponsor to his/her dependent and the length of stay will depend upon how long they have been sponsored.
Applicants must submit all the required details of Dependent visa of all family members together with their entry applications. They should complete application form ID 997 .
